Shaspo Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan, transfer by air-conditioned modern Van to St. Simeon Monastery, the name of the Monastery St. Simeon was given by travelers and archaeologists, but the old name of the Monastery was Anba Hatre, Camel ride available at St. Simeon Monastery upon request, The Monastery main features are well preserved although much of the Monastery is in ruins, it provides the most important example of Christian church in Egypt With its oblong domed, St. Simeon Monastery has a large number of tombstones in its cemetery which are invaluable sources to study the tomb stones of the early Christian in the Nile Valley, at the end of your tour transfer back to your hotel in Aswan.
