The Nile River
The Nile River is the largest river in Egypt and Africa, it is also the most famous river in the history all over the world. The river penetrates Egypt from south to north and divided into two branches that pours in the Mediterranean Sea, which are the Rosetta and Damietta branches.

Therefore, the Nile is the source of Egypt’s agricultural troubles as the source of agricultural prosperity.
The name of the Nile in the ancient Egyptian language is Ha - be, who often seen in the Egyptian Antiquities in two forms: first is the image of the God on one side, and the other image is on the other side, between the two sides there is a rope linking them together indicating that the Nile is linking Egypt together.
The ancient Egyptians honored the Nile in recognition of its value because the Nile saved their country from being part of the desert, and made him god offering sacrifices in special events and holidays.
