Dahab is a tourist city located in South Sinai in Egypt, it is the most popular after the city of Sharm el-Sheikh, considering the numbers of tourists coming by. This city once was a small fishing village then it got more famous in the nineties after the Egyptian government has accorded special attention to it by establishing tourist villages, hotels and restaurants.

 

Dahab is located on the Gulf of Aqaba at the Red Sea in the southeast of Sinai Peninsula and about 100 km to the north of the famous resort of Sharm el-Sheikh. Dahab is famous for its golden beaches and amazing sites that are suitable for diving, which is one of the most prominent activities that visitors can do in such a charming city, which have an advantage over the rest of the Red Sea Resorts by being the cheapest among them.

 

Dahab is also characterized by Skydiving activity also it has a water sport that doesn’t excist in Sharm EL Sheikh, which is windsurfing, Dahab is famous for this water sport because of the speed of the wind in the City as it is surrounded by mountains from many sides. Also you from Dahab you can pay a visit to other famous attractions such as The Colored Canyon or make a snorkeling trip to the Blue Hole.
